Welcoming a Tiny 12
In the Northwest, the only thing that is taken more seriously than your cup of coffee is Seahawks season. September through the Super Bowl, fans all over the state of Washington treat Sundays and Monday nights with the same deference as a religious holiday. If you’re expecting a new arrival, welcome your little one into the world the right way: as a Seahawks fan!

Dixie Cups Man!
Learning to be a father and husband is a real struggle. Trying to figure yourself out while you are trying to figure out the women you love is a real confusing time. My wife and I got together in our early twenties. At that point in time the only thing I knew about relationships was the vision my parents had provided me. You eventually learn that what you see from the sample your parents give you is not the whole picture. Growing up when dad spoke, we all listened. Dad was the man of the house and if he said it wasn’t happening, it wasn’t happening. When he said something…

Read A Bedtime Story To Your Little One No Matter How Near or Far You Are
Every few years we tell our parents that we are moving. Moving further away and even though they are happy for us career-wise, a little piece of them is saddened about missing out on the grandkids growing up. Our kids didn’t have the opportunity to spend the night with their grandparents whenever they wanted or hang out at their house all weekend. They also didn’t have the chance to cuddle up with their favorite book for grandma or papa to read to them.

I Will Accept The Weather Being Disrespectful Now – It’s Snowing
The weatherman has been calling for snow for the last few days for Metro D.C. The accumulations kept changing, and I was getting really bummed. #1 Bible For Kids
Something exciting happened to me today. You see, I had this article scheduled to write Monday, November 26. It didn’t happen. Then I planned to write it Tuesday. It didn’t happen. So, today came, and I had to get it done. The day started like any other day, my husband’s alarm going off, my alarm going off and hitting snooze five times. Yes, I have it planned, so I’m able to hit snooze five times before getting up. My husband tells me just to set the alarm for a later time. Hmmm….no.

I Don’t Sign Papers In The Morning
Do you have children who cannot find their shoes, jacket, need something signed, etc. every morning? Well, you are NOT alone. Some days are better than others, but when those mornings hit in my house, I dish out blank stares. There’s no yelling, no fussing. Just blank stares. One of my biggest pet peeves is the signing of forms. No! I will NOT sign anything the morning of. My goal is to teach kids responsibility and respect up in this house!
