Do you rip and run like a maniac most days? Â I see you shaking your head and laughing. Â It’s ok, most people do. Â For some reason, we feel we must always be busy from sun up to sun down.
No! Â Stop it! Â Stop it RIGHT NOW! Â Being “busy” doesn’t win you any kind of award. Â Let’s learn to take a moment for ourselves. Â You know, self-care. Hmmmm….. or do you ask, “what is self-care?”
What Is Self-Care
Simply put, self-care is caring for yourself.  Yeah, that’s right.  There’s no need to make this difficult, but for some reason, we want to make it complicated. Â
We make it SO complicated that we begin making excuses on why we can’t do it. Â No one will, or I should say, no one should make you feel bad for taking time out for you. Â And if someone tries to make you feel bad, just ignore them or encourage them to give it a try.
Self-care comes in many different forms for different people, and we will discuss this in a later post.
We need to rejuvenate our body, mind, and soul.
If you don’t take care of yourself, how do you expect to look after your family? Â How will you be able to help others around you? Â You should ALWAYS carve a little bit of self-care time into your schedule.
