Every few years we tell our parents that we are moving.  Moving further away and even though they are happy for us career-wise, a little piece of them is saddened about missing out on the grandkids growing up.

A Bit Of Information About The Creator

The creator of this story app grew up in Germany.  His parents were DODDS teachers, and he witnessed many friends’ parents leaving for deployment during the beginning of Desert Storm.  He witnessed friends worry about parents and not knowing when mom or dad would return.  He also experienced not being able to spend a lot of time with his grandparents due to his family’s move to Germany.

Fast forward to Wil (the creator) as a grown man and starting his own family.

As the app was first being developed, Wil’s father recorded a story for his grandson as a test.  It brought so much joy to Wil.  Why?  It was his father’s first time reading to his grandson.  You see, Wil and his family did not live near his parents.  And giving his child the opportunity to have stories ready by grandma and papa was truly special for him.
