It’s Spring Break and our plans were changed a bit due to hubby’s work. So I decided to schedule dentist and eye exams for everyone. Â We spent one day visiting the eye doctor and the other at the dentist. Â Everyone was cavity free. Â YAY!
Today was our lazy day around the house, I’m a firm believer of rest (check out I Love Naps). Â No one rushed for breakfast and everyone just lounged around in PJ’s for most of the morning. Â Of course, there’s always that one child that needs to get completely dressed. Â My love bug came downstairs dolled up from head to toe.
Then it happened, everyone started talking nonstop! Â What? Â There’s three of them and one of me. Â I just can’t hear everyone at once. The dogs even looked annoyed and ran upstairs to get away. Â ?
Finally, the neighborhood kids were ready to play and wanted to play at their house. Â SCORE! Â The dogs and I stretched out, I popped one of these baby’s open and enjoyed the silence. Â Hubby came home, took a look around, asked where the kids were and laughed once he saw my drink of choice. Â It was a long day.
The kids busted through the door about one hour later. Â They ran straight to their dad asking about his day. Â Of course, they shared theirs too. Â BOOM! Â I just sat back and laughed. Â He told them he had to go bed at 8:30 P.M. Â Do you think that stopped them? Â Nope! Â They talked during dinner, after dinner, as he prepped for the next day, etc. Â He turned to me and said, “I thought you told them to get ready for bed?” Â Here’s a little theme song I shared with him. Â HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Tomorrow will be a fun filled day exploring. Â Maybe we won’t have to play our new found theme song at the end of the day. Â Good night, time for another guilty pleasure of mine.
