There Will Be Days Like This
Today was our lazy day around the house, I’m a firm believer of rest (check out I Love Naps). No one rushed for breakfast and everyone just lounged around in PJ’s for most of the morning. Of course, there’s always that one child that needs to get completely dressed. My love bug came downstairs dolled up from head to toe.
Then it happened, everyone started talking nonstop! What? There’s three of them and one of me. I just can’t hear everyone at once. The dogs even looked annoyed and ran upstairs to get away. ?
Finally, the neighborhood kids were ready to play and wanted to play at their house. SCORE! The dogs and I stretched out, I popped one of these baby’s open and enjoyed the silence. Hubby came home, took a look around, asked where the kids were and laughed once he saw my drink of choice. It was a long day.
The kids busted through the door about one hour later. They ran straight to their dad asking about his day. Of course, they shared theirs too. BOOM! I just sat back and laughed. He told them he had to go bed at 8:30 P.M. Do you think that stopped them? Nope! They talked during dinner, after dinner, as he prepped for the next day, etc. He turned to me and said, “I thought you told them to get ready for bed?” Here’s a little theme song I shared with him. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tomorrow will be a fun filled day exploring. Maybe we won’t have to play our new found theme song at the end of the day. Good night, time for another guilty pleasure of mine.
