About Us
Mamas and Coffee® is all about knowing, being, and loving yourself, while fostering global connections through virtual and in-person meetups. We empower women to be their best while embracing the power of fun and laughter in our supportive community.
Mamas and Coffee® is thrilled to present our vibrant and spirited owner, Sybil Jones, affectionately known as “MomJonz”! Sybil is not your average mom – she’s a shining example of how to navigate the intricate dance of motherhood with style, grace, and a touch of pizzazz. With teenagers under her wing, she’s living proof that the teen years can be a whole lot of fun, love, and endless discovery.
Sybil’s unique take on motherhood is like a gust of fresh air. At a stage where her teens are gaining their own independence and one is now a college student, she firmly upholds the “self-care first” philosophy. As she aptly puts it, “You can’t pour from an empty cup, and you can’t even have what’s in my cup.” However, she doesn’t stop there – she believes in sharing her overflow.
Amid the whirlwind of teenage escapades and chauffeuring her young tribe to various activities, she prioritizes her own well-being. Whether it’s a rejuvenating spa day, savoring a cup of her beloved coffee, or simply going for a walk or allowing the TV to watch her as she naps, Sybil serves as a constant reminder that self-care is an absolute necessity, and that, indeed, “by practicing self-care, I will pour my overflow into you.”
A Proud Military Spouse & Inspirational Voice
But it doesn’t stop there. Sybil wears multiple hats, including that of a devoted military spouse. Her journey as a “mil-spouse” has undoubtedly added layers of strength, resilience, and a dash of adventure to her already dynamic life. She’s mastered the art of keeping the home fires burning while her husband is away on duty, and her stories are a testament to the unbreakable spirit of military families.
When Sybil isn’t here at Mamas and Coffee®, you can find her sharing her wisdom and experiences at MilSpouse Conversations™, where she continues to inspire and support fellow military spouses on their journeys, bringing a different perspective, engaging in valuable conversations, fostering a vibrant community, and, of course, adding a touch of fun to their lives.
How Love Flows
Sybil’s love for her husband is palpable, and she knows that nurturing that love is crucial. She advocates that by taking care of yourself and your spouse, the love and energy naturally trickle down to the children. It’s a recipe for a happy and harmonious family life that she has perfected over the years.
In her own words, Know You Be You Love You® is Sybil’s signature slogan. It’s a reminder to everyone, especially her fellow moms, to embrace their uniqueness, own their identity, and love themselves unconditionally. This mantra serves as a guiding light in Sybil’s daily life and is an inspiration to all who follow her journey.
But that’s not all – Sybil is a stroke warrior, having triumphed over adversity and emerged stronger than ever. Her resilience and determination in the face of challenges make her a beacon of hope and an example of unwavering courage.
So, if you’re looking for wisdom, humor, and the perfect blend of motherhood and self-care tips, Sybil Jones, “MomJonz,” is your go-to source. Follow her blog and join the exciting ride that is her life, as she brings her “Know You, Be You, Love You®” approach to every adventure.
Sybil starts her day with “Mary Mary, Go Get Your Blessings” as a reminder to work through her newfound friend, anxiety, following a life-threatening experience. This song inspires her to confront her fears and seek blessings in each day. Despite her unwavering belief in God and her enjoyment of life, the near-fatal event has given her a deeper appreciation for life’s precious moments. With faith as her anchor, she faces each day with determination and a heart full of gratitude. Sybil embraces the challenges ahead, knowing that her newfound perspective will guide her towards a brighter future.
